Power Home Remodeling Earns Spot on 2023 PEOPLE Companies That Care® List
The home remodeler is recognized for honoring employees, supporting communities, and caring for the environment
CHESTER, PA — August 23, 2023 — Power Home Remodeling (“Power”), the nation’s leading exterior home remodeler, has been honored by Great Place To Work® and PEOPLE magazine as one of the 2023 PEOPLE Companies That Care®. This marks Power’s first time on the distinguished list, coming in at #49, which honors the U.S. companies that have not only succeeded in business, but also demonstrated a great deal of care and concern for their communities and the environment.
Power was built on a mission of putting people first, which rings true more than thirty years later. In fact, according to the Great Place to Work® survey, 97% of employees feel that “people care about each other here” and 94% feel good about the ways in which Power contributes to the community. In 2023 alone, the company has gone above and beyond to support employees and communities alike, including:
- Providing subsidized child care for employees and their families
- Launching The Power of Giving Foundation — a program that awards grants to local non-profits chosen by Power employees who are already volunteering their time as a way to amplify their impact
- Establishing PowerAid — an employee Relief and Assistance Fund to provide financial support during unexpected life events
- Collecting and donating over 360,000 in-need items to non-profits across the country through Power’s annual holiday donation drive
