Press Release Power Home Remodeling Earns Spot on 2023 PEOPLE Companies That Care® List

The home remodeler is recognized for honoring employees, supporting communities, and caring for the environment

CHESTER, PA — August 23, 2023 — Power Home Remodeling (“Power”), the nation’s leading exterior home remodeler, has been honored by Great Place To Work® and PEOPLE magazine as one of the 2023 PEOPLE Companies That Care®. This marks Power’s first time on the distinguished list, coming in at #49, which honors the U.S. companies that have not only succeeded in business, but also demonstrated a great deal of care and concern for their communities and the environment.

Power is a company that cares.

Power was built on a mission of putting people first, which rings true more than thirty years later. In fact, according to the Great Place to Work® survey, 97% of employees feel that “people care about each other here” and 94% feel good about the ways in which Power contributes to the community. In 2023 alone, the company has gone above and beyond to support employees and communities alike, including:

“We are incredibly proud that the Power community is being recognized externally for what we see every day: 3,500 people across 19 offices putting others before themselves.”

“Never before have we seen the way we all work shift so dramatically. The companies on this list keep their employees and their communities front and center, while thinking about how we can work together better — and do better for our neighbors and our planet,” said PEOPLE editorin-chief Wendy Naugle

The Companies That Care recognition is the latest in a string of awards Power has earned this year including their #13 placement on the 2023 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, and the #21 on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials™ List. “This was the year when we saw if companies meant it when they promised to put employees first. Caring for people isn’t a by-product or afterthought for the very best companies — it’s a core part of how they create value for their customers and communities,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work.
