POSITION SUMMARY:
The Craftsman position services both the overall business of the company and the needs of customers by serving as an integral part of our window installation labor unit. This position serves all aspects of the installation including the customer experience, quality of the installation, and occasionally assisting with training of junior team members. The Craftsman is responsible for executing on installation strategies laid out by the Master Craftsman for each assigned project, as well as being responsible for any service work on projects in which the Craftsman was a participant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing installations and services while adhering to operating practices and policies.
- Assisting the Master Craftsman with the installation and customer service requirements of assigned projects.
- Assist the Master Craftsman in determining what action to take when issues present during the installation process.
- Works to ensure that all company-branded work is OSHA-compliant and satisfies all other applicable laws and regulations.
- Works on site, directly with customers, to answer any questions or concerns, and assess satisfaction level.
- Ensures that all materials used in the installation process meet company standards and, in the case of any defect or quality concern, is responsible for informing the Master Craftsman.
- May be required to perform services and repairs, for which he or she would need to ascertain the parts necessary.
- Ensures personal and team compliance with regard to safety and health.
- Completes various administrative tasks as needed.
- Assists in the warehouse on a limited basis to receive product to be transported to project sites.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving to, from, and in between sites as needed.
- Other as assigned by Management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma and 2-4 years of related work experience is required.
