ROLE DESCRIPTION

Location: Aston, PA

Power Home Remodeling is looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern for the summer to help help organize, manage, and support the basic office functions of each of Power’s 20 satellite offices.

Power is a dream realization company dedicated to improvement, both for our customers, and employees.  As a Business Affairs Intern, you will be exposed to, and benefit from, coordinating office operations and championing organizational efficiency throughout the regional location. The Business Affairs Internship will be heavily focused on learning and developing different skillsets such as basic HR tasks, office and event management, and working in a fast paced and people oriented environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for coordinating all office operations and procedures along side HR/Business Affairs Team, and championing organizational efficiency throughout their regional location.
  • Serves as a strategic liaison between regional office and corporate departments. Including but not limited to Special Events, Business Technologies, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Manages inventory of office supplies, paperwork, equipment, and apparel.
  • Will be exposed to and have the opportunity to complete entry level HR tasks, including, pre-employment screenings, onboarding, orientation and compliance management.  
  • Responsible for assisting in annual charitable partnership events with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
  •  Must be able to sit for up to eight hours per day, type on the computer for several hours a day, talk on the phone frequently throughout the day, stand for up to 8 hours at events or offsite venues.
  • Other as assigned by Management.
  • Some travel is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess the ability to switch tasks with ease.
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for learning and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment, be self-motivated, and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • This is a fully in-office position at Power’s Headquarters located in Chester, PA.
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30AM-5:00PM.
  • Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
