Senior Payroll Practitioner (Full Time)

We are looking to add a Senior Payroll Practitioner to our payroll team located in Suburban Philadelphia. As a Senior Payroll Practitioner, you will report to the Manager of Payroll and will be responsible for the assistance of all payroll functions for 3800+ W-2 employees across 20+ territories using ADP’s Payroll System.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Payroll Practitioner will handle a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Support the Payroll Manager and Director of Payroll by performing high level payroll processing, answering and resolving questions or problems, and following up on payroll-related issue
  • Data entry pertaining to new hires, compensation, benefit deductions, department transfers, garnishments etc.
  • Audit internal payroll processes weekly, biweekly and on a quarterly basis.
  • Responsible for balancing post payroll reporting needs per payroll schedule/company.
  • Process transactions related to HSA and 401K per payroll schedule/company.
  • Assist with collecting data for general audits and special projects with time sensitive deadlines.
  • Operate garnishment/levies and reconcile refunds.
  • Manage payroll overviews for new hires, established employees and onboarding of new team members.
  • Remain up to date on federal, state and local best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of payroll experience
  • FPC or CPP certification preferred
  • Highly detailed oriented and able to multi-task
  • Analytical mindset
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll regulations
  • Microsoft Excel/ Office
  • macOS experience recommended
  • High level of confidentiality
