POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nitro Quality Ninja supports our product teams with thorough testing and documentation of new features within PHRG’s internal application, Nitro. They ensure quality through careful review of our application’s workflow, permissions, data, error tracking systems, and logs.
This role is embedded within a team (or teams) focused on a specific product area in Nitro, working closely with product managers and developers to deliver value in weekly sprints. The Nitro Quality Ninja partners with support teams to understand and quickly resolve production issues, maintaining a commitment to overall product quality.
While this role focuses on manual testing, we are eager to introduce automated testing to our quality approach. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning automated testing techniques and excited to grow their skills in this area over time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manually tests changes to Nitro, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs.
- Verifies production changes, occasionally after hours, to confirm accuracy and stability, ensuring no new issues are introduced.
- Builds a thorough understanding of Nitro’s workflow, data, permissions, and logging processes.
- Promotes quality by reviewing and updating test instructions, ensuring all functions are thoroughly tested and approved prior to merging changes.
- Participates actively in all team meetings.
- Applies insights to reduce end-user reliance on the support team by enhancing the application’s usability and stability.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in other support center settings is preferred
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field a plus
