A Message from our CEOs: Our Commitment to Service During COVID-19

Several weeks ago, Power made the difficult and unprecedented decision to temporarily suspend most of our major business operations due to Covid-19 (coronavirus). As a people-first organization, we believe this is the right decision for our customers, our employees, and our communities.

Our customers trust us with their most valuable asset – their home – and we take that privilege very seriously. It is their trust that necessitated our decision to suspend our business and it will continue to guide our decisions on how to resume. Here are a few things we’re doing to keep them safe during Covid-19.

Rescheduling Our Services

All pre-install inspections, installations, and service appointments have been rescheduled. Our plans continue to evolve as local and state governments issue guidance, so projects are being scheduled based on location and product type. We will prioritize product installations that require no interior contact first. In the coming weeks, we will begin scheduling certain installations.

Staying Compliant to State & Local Government Guidelines

As states begin to reopen, they are closely monitoring data to determine if it is safe to work. We are closely monitoring these orders as we plan to begin installations and services so that we can serve our customers safely and in compliance with state and local government orders.

Begin with Installation of Exterior Projects

In an effort to make our installations contactless, we will start installing exterior projects first, including gutters, trim, siding, and roofing. As safety measures are further defined, we will move to install products such as windows and attic insulation that require limited entry into customer homes.

Safe Work Practices

We’re limiting unnecessary exposure to both our customers and employees, potentially including but not limited to wearing face masks, disinfecting tools, products, and vehicles, and practicing social distancing by limiting the number of people on each project.

This is a challenging and uncertain time for us all. But as we face the difficult road ahead, our core values of optimism, care, grit, innovation, and integrity remain our north star. Thank you and we look forward to partnering with you in the future.

Sincerely,
