Power Home Remodeling Opens New Charlotte Office

New positions and promotions announced as company expands across territories

CHARLOTTE, N.C., January 24, 2019 — Power Home Remodeling (Power), the nation’s largest full-service exterior home remodeling company, today announced the promotion of three managerial staff to the role of regional vice president.

Mike Morello has been named regional vice president of marketing; Geoffrey Morton has been named regional vice president of installations; and Tyrone Thorne named regional vice president of sales. Each will be responsible for establishing and growing Power’s operations in Charlotte, North Carolina, while supporting the company’s continued growth and expansion across the country.

“During this historic period of growth at Power, it is an exciting time to build on our success and prepare to open our new office in Charlotte,” said Power co-CEO Asher Raphael. “This growth is a direct result of the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment exemplified by talented leaders like Mike, Geoffrey and Tyrone.

Mike Morello, previously director of marketing, will relocate from Virginia to lead marketing operations in Power’s Charlotte office. Originally joining the company in 2011, Morello has served in leadership positions in both Power’s marketing and sales departments. He is a native of Greenwich, Connecticut, and holds an MBA with a specialization in management from Marymount University.

Alongside Morello in Power’s Greenbelt, Maryland office, Geoffrey Morton, now regional vice president of installations, was previously a regional project manager. In his four years with Power, Morton has held a variety of roles in installations, inspections, and compliance. He is a native of Media, Pennsylvania and currently resides in nearby Landenberg with his wife Nicole and their four children.

Since January 2016, Tyrone Thorne had been director of sales in Power’s Wilton, Connecticut office. Prior to that, Thorne’s many contributions as a remodeling consultant and mentor to junior staff benefited Power since his joining the company in 2011. In his new role, Thorne will build and oversee a new sales team based in Charlotte. He is a graduate of Fordham University (BA) and Iona College (MBA) and will relocate from Yorktown Heights, New York, with his wife, Desha, and two sons.
