That’s why we created the Power Veterans Initiative. Through this Initiative, we will not simply hire hundreds of veterans; we will provide them with the opportunity to be challenged, develop into leaders, and build a career founded on purpose.

That’s why we are actively hiring returning veterans for positions in marketing, sales, and operations throughout the country as we continue our nationwide expansion. We believe hiring veterans is not just the right ethical decision, it’s the right business decision.
Integral to a thriving civilian life is a strong community. To foster this sense of belonging, Power is working to re-energize American Legions across the country. Each of our territories is partnering with a local Legion to create an environment that engages millennial veterans, build an on-site state-of-the-art gym, provide updated computers and gaming technology, and develop and execute community service projects.
Power doesn’t hire veterans out of a sense of duty. Power hires vets because we believe it’s smart business. They are natural leaders, willing to go the extra mile not only for themselves, but also for the betterment of others.
PVI Council Members
Michael was deployed four times with the Marine Corps, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. In the course of his service, he earned the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and a Combat Meritorious Promotion to Sergeant.
Jim deployed to Iraq with the Military Police Company, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division. He supported multiple forward operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst with top-secret clearance.
Damon served with the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion as a Non-Commissioned Officer during Operation Enduring Freedom. He received two Purple Hearts, a Combat Action Ribbon and Naval Unit Citation in his service.
Lillian served as an Automated Logistics Specialist, supporting both domestic and overseas operations, and was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for her service.
Power Veterans Initiative
Veterans inherently understand the value of teamwork, purpose and pure grit. We created the Power Veterans Initiative for veterans looking to apply the same values they gained during their time in the military towards a career. While some companies may view hiring veterans as charity, we see it as an essential move for our business.

2016 Mid-year Kickoff Event
Why did we fly over 1,750 people in for our mid-year kick-off? Because we’re all one family, and we want our employees to see, in-person, what Power can do for everyone. We start off with a night of fun, and follow it up with a highly motivating event to kick start employees for the rest of the year, including a very special speaker who personifies true leadership.
